Sorry that it has been awhile since I posted, not really much to say.
So it has been a year and a week now since I started this weightloss journey. Recently I think my body was like woah, k, a year is long enough… because i couldn’t get enough food.. i wanted everything. Not giving up, we all have setbacks, if we didn’t wouldn’t everyone be thin? lol
I find it interesting how people think they might be rude in saying they notice i have lost weight. I can understand 10 pounds or so, cause then you would be like well is she trying? I don’t want to come off rude as if to say, hey, lose some weight lol… but 70 plus pounds? ran into someone on Thursday, I hadn’t seen since probably october or so.. maybe even before… Anyways she says congratulations and that it is soo noticeable etc etc.. but was like “I don’t want to sound rude”… rude? really? it isn’t rude! Rude would be hey you look like you are packin on the pounds, why don’t you lose some weight? lol
And it is a good thing I ran into her, cause i was craving and was on my way to getting a poutine… well how could i get a poutine after someone telling me how great i look and to keep up the good work? lol I have to get back into the swing of things anyways…
I bought a bunch of weight watchers material online last week, so maybe i will look them over when they arrive and see about changing up my habits again
Anyways to update everyone.. last week i lost an ounce(.1 pound lol) and the week before i gained 1.6. Will be gaining this week as well since i haven’t been doing well… but will be back on track soon.

A lot of you probably already know, but those who don’t and who follow my blog, my news is that I lost 2.4 pounds this week!! woohoo! Total loss of 73.2 now, yay!
I can not believe that I have been doing this for almost a year now. February 27th, it will be a year and that is awesome to have lost almost 75 pounds in less than a year! To do it on my own is even more amazing, no gimmicks, pills, weight watchers, etc etc… Did it all by myself
Take that Curves! hehe Those that have been following my progress from the beginning, know what I am talking about… If you check my archives of posts, you will see a post about curves and how the owner pretty much said I can’t do it on my own, well no one tells Megan she CAN’T do something! ha!
Chances are, I won’t be meeting my october goal, but any loss is a good loss, so it’s all good

Sorry I never posted my update on Tuesday.. but better late than never, right?
My weigh in wasn’t the best, but i didn’t gain, so that’s a good thing!
I lost point 8 of a pound lol Hoping for a better week this week, we shall see. To lose 100lbs from october to october though, i now need to lose a good 2.6 pounds a week every week… but that’s ok, any loss is a good loss even if i don’t meet that goal!
Will try to come as close to it as i can though.

Where is the time going? Seriously? I have now had this site up for almost 4 months! Seems like I just put it up.
Yesterday was weighin day and I was not happy, so much so i wanted to throw the scale out the window lol It wasn’t THAT much of a gain, just when you see a 2 one week and then a 3 the next, makes you wanna scream. Especially when I was 299 in mid Dec and now i am 300, I coulda lost a good 10 pounds since then… ooooh well…
So was pretty down and lacking of motivation, until I watched this weeks episode of the biggest loser. OMG, sooo motivating, this episode was probably the most motivating episode i have seen. The beginning of the season, everyone competed to be on the ranch, but the last 2 teams finishing the competition were sent home. They were still in the game though, continuing at home and after 30 days they will come back to the ranch and whicheve team loses the most % of weight get to come on the ranch and play the game..
So, the 30 day mark was last nights episode. So, they did it all at home, no ranch or anything and one person in one month lost 51 pounds!!! Another 39, another 25 and another 24! So that was pretty motivating, I was like if she can lose 39 pounds in a month, surely i can lose a quarter of that!!! (9.7)
So, next week, I will be posting a loss, so stay tuned!!!
So tomorrow marks my 11 month anniversary on this weight loss journey. I have lost 70.6 pounds in that time.
I lost point 6 of a pound this week, but hey, it’s a loss so i will take it
Brings me under the 3s again. I am now 299.4, woohoo!
I updated all my statistics on the stats page
and also on the home page to the left. Not really much else to say, except I am still doing it, never thought I would still be at this almost a year later, I think I shocked myself hehe.

Sorry, i didn’t post yesterday… But, i did have a 1.2 pound loss for the week, so that’s good
woulda been nice had it been 1.3 though lol Cause i am now 300(yes i know, still trying to lose the rest of the weight i gained over the holidays) Just about there though, 1 more pound
I have now lost 70 pounds in almost 11 months!
So that is good, and 12.6 from the start of my 100 pound year, so 87.4 more pounds and to achieve that by October 7, 2010, I need to lose 2.4 pounds a week. I will do that darnit!
Anyways, not much else to say, just wanted to update everyone! Hope everyone is having a great week! Keep on keepin’ on

Ok, don’t panic, I got back on the wagon. lol Well i didn’t really fall off exactly, kinda learing on and off. But, it is too be expected around Christmas right? Especially when people give me chocolates and candy as gifts since i did so well lol I know people mean well and think it is a good thing.. and it is, if they said here, you did so well have a chocolate.. not here have a barrel of chocolates! lol I mean does an alcoholic put a bottle of vodka in the fridge and have a sip from time to time? No, they will drink the whole thing and probably go out and get more, right?… same thing. We can’t just put a box of chocolates away and have one from time to time, we eat the whole thing and want more… so needless to say I gained 8 pounds over the holidays lol
BUT… happy to report, i have now lost 6.2 of those 8!
and that is since tuesday! haha. Guess since i gained it so quick, it is coming off just as quick.
I know my last post, i said i would do my updates on fridays, well really i guess i will do them when i have something to say!
There is a song I have been listening to a lot lately, I believe it has to do with being addicted to drugs and falling off the wagon, but it goes for this to, since it is a similiar situation.. i am an addict as well… just not to drugs. So if you know anyone who is going through what I am or something similiar(alcoholic, drug addict etc), please share the video with them. I think it helped me in not going omg i screwed up, i can’t do it. Stopped me from going there…

Oh and something else helped too… Around New Years Eve, I had ordered some clothes online. I had been wearing 4x in my clothes, and they are getting a bit loose, so i figured I am between a 3 and 4x… so i ordered a 3x in the 2 tops and 2 pairs of jeans. Figured then they would be a bit snug on me and I would have them for awhile… So, i get them, try them on and ummm they aren’t snug at all! In fact I could have gotten away with a 2x in the tops! I was beyond thrilled, and that motivated me. Anyways, here is a pic of me wearing the jeans and top.
So, now I have to go do my groceries, am running out of food. Hope everyone has a great weekend! I still have to update my stats, I posted before I did that, but by the time you read this, it should be all updated
Have lost 68.8 total so far and 11.4 since October 8th(the start of my 100 pound year) So need to lose approx. 2.3 pounds a week every week to meet that goal.

Happy New Year everyone!! Hope everyone gets what they wished for in 2010 and you accomplish your goals!
So until February 12th, my weigh in days will now be on Fridays. I have been doing a biggest loser challenge on this website I belong to, and this one just started today and will run until Feb 12th – valentine’s challenge.
So, I have lots of work to do in 2010. In almost 3 weeks(2.5), I have gained 7.2 pounds! That is crazy. But, I won’t dwell on that…. i can’t do that. You can’t succeed if you dwell on the past or slipups/mistakes you have made. What’s done is done. I will move forward and continue my weightloss journey
To reach my goal of losing 100 pounds by October, I now need to lose 2.36 pounds a week every week. I posted my goals on the Stats page.

Nothing much to report except that i gained 2.6 pounds over the week. Not really surprising, surprised I didn’t gain more than that actually lol If people would stop giving me chocolate and candy during the holidays! grrrr That is like giving an alcoholic a bottle of wine, no??
Oh well once the holidays are over, I will be back on track

Merry Christmas everyone!!! So I never posted an update on Tuesday and got in heck from my family last night, so I figured I should post today haha.
My last weigh in, I was up point 4 of a pound. Not to bad, although I am sure I am up a pound or two at least now since there are all these christmas goodies around, aaaagh! But it is okay, cause I will get back into things once the holidays are over. In the meantime, I will just have to make up for eating extra by working out with my bike or wii fit plus or even doing a dvd or something. I am on holidays til the 4th, so I have extra time to workout, I might as well take advantage!
