So I decided to change my weigh in days back to Fridays. I do way better during the week, so if i see a loss on fridays, then that will just motivate me that much more, but when i see a gain, that just frustrates me lol
So i weighed in yesterday and apparently lost 4.7 pounds since Tuesday, haha! Will see how i do next Friday I guess
Anyways just wanted to update everyone. If you check out my stats page, you will see I updated my new goals.
I think they should be more doable. Seeing too high of a goal I think was getting me discouraged cause i didn’t make them. Now the goals are set at 1.5 pounds a week, I can do that!

So last week i gained 8 ounces and this past week i gained 3.2! ack. It is definately time to get serious! Had my last supper so to speak lol KFC yummmmmm havent had that in ages. But now i will be cutting out the junk again, it seemed to have creeped back into my eating habits again lol Will stick to eating stuff like that if i go out to lunch/breakfast with friends.
Cutting out the chips and stuff again, guess i kept lying to myself, it isnt like i have it ALL the time, so it is ok… well once in a blue moon turned into once every 2 weeks which turned into once a week which was about to start turning into saturdays AND sundays lol. So now ill stick to just having popcorn when i go to the movies or something. For awhile anyways
Now i am just waiting til my show starts. Losing It with Jillian Michaels! woohoo! Love that show, the first show was last Tuesday and it was awesome. It comes on NBC at 10pm est on Tuesday nights, check it out!

So, i know it has been awhile since i posted, i am so bad at keepin this updated lol… but anyways…
I lost 2.1 pounds this week
I weighed 295.1 on Tuesday and then 2 days later I weighed myself again because it was the anniversary of my weightloss, 15 months… I weighed 294.8 for a total loss of 75.2 pounds! woohoo!! Hopefully it will keep on going down.
It has been more difficult with the exercising and trying to lose weight lately since it has been so hot. I love the summer weather, but cant really do too much exercise when it is 30-40 degrees out and add about 5 degrees to that in my apt lol But my most awesome brother will be installing my ac soon, so yay! He came by on Sunday to do that, but the management replaced my windows a couple years ago, so the plexi glass i have to put above the ac does not fit, so he had to bring it home and get it cut… but will be back again at some point
Then i can start exercising a little more hardcore again, woohoo!
Thank you everyone for following me on my journey and for all the encouragement, keep it coming, i need all the motivation i can get lol I won’t be meeting my100poundyear goal, but thats ok, any loss is a good loss
The goal was to lose 100 pounds from october/09 to october/10 and since october i have lost 17-18 pounds, so i wont be losing 80something by this october. :-p But as long as i lose some, that is the main thing. I will for sure have lost 100 pounds total though by then so that will be awesome… a great birthday present to myself, that is for sure

I know I havecn’t posted anything in foreverrrrrr.. sorry haven’t really had much to say I guess, I have been doing my daily updates right on facebook, so I don’t want to bore everyone who already know what i have been up to lol
I lost almost a pound this week(.8). I have been starting to change up my exercise regime, since I haven’t been losing much weight. I have lost about 3 pounds in 5 months lol… but i must be losing inches, cause i keep having to buy new clothes.
Anyways, I am beginning to use the stairs in my apt bldg as exercise. Sunday evening, I went up to 7.5th floor(in between 7 and
and back down to my apt on the 3rd in 2 mins(2 flights of stairs per floor), then Monday, I went up to the 9th floor and back down in 4 mins and tonight i went to the 8th and back down in 4 mins – was tired today ha! I will be doing the bike after I finish this post.
So today I am at the cash in the cafeteria getting a muffin and someone behind me, who doesn’t look familiar to me at all, but she obviously knows who i am lol, says “you have lost a lot of weight eh? You look fabulous” That feels so good hearing stuff like that from people I don’t even know! Well people i do know too lol.. you know what i mean
Just makes me feel like a celebrity or something.
Then tonight my sister-in-law emails me to tell me how her brother-in-law’s sister told her to tell me she will be cheering me on from afar. I thought that was sooo sweet! It is stuff like that that keeps me motivated, keeps me going.. i mean i don’t want to let my fans down. lol
Anyways, thanks again for all the support! It means the world to me! My total loss since February 27, 2009 is now 73.9
Where does the time go? Seriously.. here it is Saturday, April 24, 2010 and writing my update from Tuesday… when the last time i posted was the 6th! Seems like i JUST posted. lol
So, not last weigh in, but the one before i was pretty ticked… the scale showed a 5.2 pound gain! That was crazy… but luckily for me, the following week(last tuesday) the scale showed a loss of 6.8 pounds, woohoo!!
I snuck a peak today and it shows a 2.3 pound loss since Tuesday, so hopefully there will be at least a 2 pound loss this coming Tuesday
Things are definately changing for me during this weightloss journey… Last weekend, the amount i did, a couple years ago woulda taken me a month!! Saturday morning, I went to penningtons and spent waaaay too much money, but that’s the downfall of losin weight, gotta keep spendin money on new clothes. I was shopping for a good hour and a half…a couple years ago, if i were shopping more than 20 mins, my legs would feel like jello and i would have to stop. Also i would do ONE thing over the course of the weekend, cause it would be enough… so i did that saturday, then sunday morning i went to walmart for a good hour or so. Came home and relaxed a couple hours, then went out to the mall to return something, then came home and relaxed for an hour or so and then went to a movie with a friend.
Speaking of movies…. Last June was the 1st time i went to a movie in 8 YEARS! Since February, I have gone to FIVE movies!! Movie theaters were just so uncomfortable and would not be able to sit in their seats… now i can, yay!! Good thing too, cause at the end of may Sex and the City 2 is coming to theaters and i DEFINATELY will be seeing that in the theater!!! Saw the 1st one a week or so ago on dvd and wished I had seen it in the theater.
I want to thank everyone again for their support, it means more than you know! xo Also, I am super happy that i have been motivating and inspiring others like me. Have received emails from time to time asking for advice and such, makes me feel soooo good.

A couple weeks ago I lost my camera, sigh. But last weekend, i bought a new one. I just need to get used to it and then I will be a picture maniac again. hehe

Sooooo… last week I gained 2.5 pounds which was actually a good thing as i thought i had gained a good 5 or 6 pounds.
Was pretty sick with a cold and was doing absolutely nothing, not only was I not exercising, but i didnt even go to work(the little exercise of getting to the bus and going…)… and as i was sick was just eating whatever was available.. who wants to think of what to eat when they feel gross?
Anyways… then this week i lost half a pound. Which i will take as it was easter weekend! mmmmm chocolate!
I will be updating my stats page and make different goals, so stay tuned
Since today is april 7th, i didnt meet my goal of 275.2
oh well… as long as i am not gaining the weight back. I will start losing again
I hope everyone had a great Easter!! I can not believe we are now in the 4th month of 2010!! Where is the time going? It is crazzzzzy! As of today, I only have 6 months left of my hundred pound year and about 85 or so pounds left to go lol Would need to lose 3.3 pounds a week to meet that goal. As long as I lose something i will be happy
Even if i “only” lose a pound a week, i will be pretty close to goal in 2.5 years.
So i will keep trekkin’

I know, twice within a day apart?! Shocking! lol
So, I had gone shopping at additionelle around Feb. 20th, and i had bought these denim capris(with no elastic at the waist, have always needed elastic at the waist in the past)…size 24. They were super, ultra tight on me.. could barely breath lol and took forever to just get them on… but, i bought them anyway cause i was like i will be wearing them at some point
I have lost 1.5 pounds since then….thats it, not even 2 pounds(i just checked lol)… anways.. i just put them on no problem and am sitting while i type this!!!!! I am able to breathe too! lol 24?!! Feb/09 and earlier, i was taking a size 32!! and at that was almost too tight….oh and with elastic at the waist to boot!
I am sooo excited!!!!!
So i guess i have lost way more inches than pounds lol I think i will get a friend of mine to measure me next time i see her… i still have the stats of my measurements from when i was at curves back from june-oct… so will see how many i have lost since then
I am on cloud 9 right now! lol

I know i know, I haven’t posted in forever(2.5 weeks or so)
Happy to say i lost 1.6 pounds this week, yay!! Might have to do with the fact i have had a cold though, but shhhh we will say it is cause i worked hard

I feel like i am getting back on track, slowly but surely
I am almost at the 75 pounds lost mark, and that makes me happy! I never would have imagined to EVER lose 75 pounds, and i have…or will shortly lol 73.1 so far! I feel like having a party of sorts when i reach the 100 pound mark hmmmmm. That would be nice, so if anyone wants to plan one for me, feel free lol I should be at that point in 4 months or so….no, correction, i WILL have lost 100 pounds total by Canada Day
So on Saturday, as a little reward for losing that amount of weight, I had decided to have the full blown spa treatment
Massage, eyebrows done, hair cut and color
It was awesome! Will definately be doing that again, maybe every 2 months or for every mini goal i meet or something, either way, i will be doing it again!
I will attach a few pictures I took of my new look. The pictures do not do it justice though. People i don’t even know(have seen around, but don’t know personally) were coming up to me telling me how much they like my hair.

Sorry that it has been awhile since I posted, not really much to say.
So it has been a year and a week now since I started this weightloss journey. Recently I think my body was like woah, k, a year is long enough… because i couldn’t get enough food.. i wanted everything. Not giving up, we all have setbacks, if we didn’t wouldn’t everyone be thin? lol
I find it interesting how people think they might be rude in saying they notice i have lost weight. I can understand 10 pounds or so, cause then you would be like well is she trying? I don’t want to come off rude as if to say, hey, lose some weight lol… but 70 plus pounds? ran into someone on Thursday, I hadn’t seen since probably october or so.. maybe even before… Anyways she says congratulations and that it is soo noticeable etc etc.. but was like “I don’t want to sound rude”… rude? really? it isn’t rude! Rude would be hey you look like you are packin on the pounds, why don’t you lose some weight? lol
And it is a good thing I ran into her, cause i was craving and was on my way to getting a poutine… well how could i get a poutine after someone telling me how great i look and to keep up the good work? lol I have to get back into the swing of things anyways…
I bought a bunch of weight watchers material online last week, so maybe i will look them over when they arrive and see about changing up my habits again
Anyways to update everyone.. last week i lost an ounce(.1 pound lol) and the week before i gained 1.6. Will be gaining this week as well since i haven’t been doing well… but will be back on track soon.

A lot of you probably already know, but those who don’t and who follow my blog, my news is that I lost 2.4 pounds this week!! woohoo! Total loss of 73.2 now, yay!
I can not believe that I have been doing this for almost a year now. February 27th, it will be a year and that is awesome to have lost almost 75 pounds in less than a year! To do it on my own is even more amazing, no gimmicks, pills, weight watchers, etc etc… Did it all by myself
Take that Curves! hehe Those that have been following my progress from the beginning, know what I am talking about… If you check my archives of posts, you will see a post about curves and how the owner pretty much said I can’t do it on my own, well no one tells Megan she CAN’T do something! ha!
Chances are, I won’t be meeting my october goal, but any loss is a good loss, so it’s all good
